First crater was the result of a glancing blow by the impactor.  The crater rim extends out so far that you can even see it when the piece is flipped over (see left hand side of the secone photo above).

  Here is a shot of the smaller second crater.

  This photo is a closeup as referenced to the left side of the second photo at the top.  The smaller crater is shown as well as the well defined crater rim projecting out of the larger crater.

This specimen weighs 23.8 grams and measures 33mm by 28mm by 10mm.  One hole, two craters on one specimen.  In over 12 years of looking at thousands of KG of Sikhote-alin, I have never even seen a specimen with a hole and one crater, let alone TWO craters.)
